Wish, Rise, Dare.

By: Minh Tran (mtran21@uic.edu)

Check out some student poetry!

Our journeys in life can be different, humiliating, enjoyable, exciting, but in the end, we learn from them and rise again to be better people.”

Wish, Rise, Dare

Sprint to the finish,
Only to realize
It was never there.

Search for bliss,
But stare in the eyes
Of the dusty air

Try and make a wish,
To cover lies
We all must bear

Give me a kiss,
You will rise
I swear, I swear.

Note from the poet:

Our journeys in life can be different, humiliating, enjoyable, exciting, but in the end, we learn from them and rise again to be better people.
